Our monthly newsletter, The County Line, is sent to all members, affiliate members, alumnae members, legislators, and many other interested parties who have requested to be on our mailing list. A typical newsletter will provide items of legislative interest, news from our member associations, a message from the President and Executive Director, "County Clippings" featuring counties who are in the news, a "Member Profile" spotlighting a different member each month, a Calendar of Events, an article from our legal counsel on subjects of interest, and a variety of newsworthy features relevant to county government.

Our annual Directory of County Officials is the only compilation of county government officials in the state. It includes the names, addresses, office and home phone numbers, fax numbers, and e-mail addresses (where available) of all elected county officials. These are provided at no charge to all members, their staff, affiliate members, and the many state agencies who request it. A fee of $20 is charged to the numerous commercial organizations who request a directory.

Our Legislative Prorities are distributed after the Board of Directors adopts our Legislative Agenda at the fall board meeting. These are made available to all members, the Legislature, state agencies, and omther interested parties.

During the legislative session, the County Legislative Line is faxed to each county at least weekly, providing updates of the legislative session and indicating any urgent action that may be needed.

The Handbook of Elected Officials for County Government presents a brief synopsis of county government and a list of constitutional duties and responsibilities for each elected official.
